FlipHTML5 comes with book templates that look professional with minimal configuration. You can add link, audio, images, videos and other elements to give user more things to interact with.It is not difficult to use. Files such as Microsoft word, powerpoint, pdf and other formats can be imported into your document. Documents made using FlipHTML5 are mobile friendly for devices such as, iPad, iPhone, Andriod, Andriod tablet an more. No coding is required.

Animations or the Flipbook itself might not load on some devices. Statistics feature is good but Google Analytics integration would have been much more useful for digital marketers.

Joomag

Joomag lets you design your document from scratch or you can upload your designs in pdf format. Their online editor is very flexible. It is fast, easy to learn and responsive to your requests.

All steps of your work based on an Internet environment. It costs some money if you want to export your interactive PDF for readers. Digital publication like magazines are not allowed to be sold without any fees. You need to pay for Pro package($15/month) at least if you want to add and custom your logo. A unlimited storage is permitted for Platinum and Enterprise pricing plan.

Yudu

Allows you to use simple PDF designs and turn them into web-based apps or editions. Yudu uses PageTiler technology that allows your document to be views perfectly on all mobile devices. Users can flip the pages without needing to install an app.

Like Mag+, YUDU does not provide publishers with the means to start creating publications directly from their platform.

MagPlus

mag+’s digital-publishing software covers every part of the app-publishing process. Design your content using simple tools, build your own branded mobile app on our Web portal, and distribute your designed content to that app for end users to experience on their mobile devices.

Mag+ users cannot create actual publications, only apps for them. They will have to use other platforms to start creating content and then Mag+ for apps/distribution.

Issuu

Issuu is an online hosting platform and newsstand. It is primarily PDF based which means that in order for users to start hosting their online magazines, they will first need to upload a PDF file. issuu will then convert it to content that can be read by flash players. Embedded reader: issuu provides embed codes to publishers so they can place their publications on external websites or on issuu itself. HTML5 compatibility: publishers don’t have to install any apps to let readers view their publications. Readers can do so directly from their browsers. Social sharing: as with many other online platforms, issuu lets publishers share their work on a variety of social media sites.

Creation capabilities: users cannot actually create digital publication on issuu’s platform (only distribute and host them). Additional starting options: users are restricted to uploading PDFs only. No selling options: issuu lacks any direct way for users to start charging for their content.

Geotagging

Geotagging is the process of adding geographical information to various media in the form of metadata. The data usually consists of coordinates like latitude and longitude, but may even include bearing, altitude, distance and place names. Geotagging is most commonly used for photographs and can help people get a lot of specific information about where the picture was taken or the exact location of a friend who logged on to a service.
